Hummingbirds are some of the smallest birds on the planet, yet they are fierce fighters who protect and defend their food sources. They feed on a tremendous amount of plant nectar every day, using the sugars in it to power their flight. Their feeding habits remind us of the clean food sources that we should all be using to power our busy lives. Hummingbirds also bring joy and elegance to the world - everybody loves watching these nimble birds zip from flower to flower.
